Not sure what to say?

Mathias from germany wishes a good life in heaven and shure rock' n roll. The music of the allnighters shall be with you

Dear Åsa Chris and Laura! We were saddened to see that Roy had passed away a year ago! Katja was visiting us in Vienna ad we talked about old memories from our time in Bethesda. Than we found Roys internet page and talked about visiting you in Maastricht, because Matthias Istas had mentioned that you all had moved there. Then sadly we saw Roys obituary! We hope that you Chris and Laura are all well and we might meet again someday! Katja, Karin and Thomas (Brücke)

Roy was always the gentleman and consumate professional when we would play music in our various bands. Only he could bring cool to khakis in a metal show. Rare individual that can meld left brain and right brain in all his endeavors. RIP till we can jam again.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I am saddened to hear of the loss of Roy. I met Roy on the river while he was doing photo shoots for his books. Roy and I spent time together as our friendship grew as Roy would share his photography knowledge with me. I am sorry for this loss, best to Roy's family.

Our deepest sympathies to Roy´s loved ones, we are so saddened to hear of his passing. Roy was a good friend to our camera club, he presented educational and inspirational programs as well as judging a few of our club competitions. He was always friendly, engaging, and excited about sharing photography and the creative process. He will be greatly missed by our club and the surrounding photographic community. Wishing his loved ones comfort and peace. ~ The Manassas Warrenton Camera Club

Roy was a master, multi faceted, with great humililty. We are lucky when someone of his nature leaves such a rich legacy of how they view the world through the lens of the camera. What I'll always remember about Roy is his ease in conversation, and his patience and care in how he interacted with everyone. Our Dear Hero of The Nation's River, enjoy all the adventure and light that lies ahead!

I will miss Roy Sewall. I had the good fortune to attend numerous of his photographic presentations and his valuable judging of photographic competitions. His experiences were very valuable to me and the many others in attendance.

Roy was always part of the soundtrack of my childhood and became a visual metaphor of the best of nature in my adulthood. I am so very, very sorry.
