Lori & Family: Sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad. Roy was a leader of the Rainbow Investment Club of which I was a member many years ago. I considered him a great mentor and have continued investing over the years using the knowledge gained from Roy. He was a leader, teacher and made great contributions to our city and the world. Sincerely, Don & Gwen Lawrence

I am very sorry to hear of Dr. Roy Sinclair's passing. His contributions to Olympic weightlifting are recognized around the world and his support for the local sport community is equally recognized. While he would very quickly overwhelm me when discussing his mathematical theories, I always enjoyed sharing time with Roy at weightlifting competitions.
He will be missed.

Roy was a gentleman deserving of being a member of Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, as he was supportive of...

We were saddened to hear about Roy's passing. Roy was always an inspiration to us all. His intense curiosity and thirst for knowledge influenced many of his students at the University of Alberta as well as those of us who got to know him during his retirement years. Roy's legacy will live on through the gift of his knowledge that was shared with so many. Our thoughts are with you and your family, Lori, as we bid farewell to an incredible man.
