Not sure what to say?

To Roy's siblings, nieces and nephews and all who loved him, I am saddened to learn of his passing and send my heartfelt condolences to you. I met Roy in 1968 in Heidelberg while he was in the Service and never lost touch until now when I did not receive his annual Christmas Greetings. He was also 'Uncle Roy' to my two children and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Now that he is in the palm of the Lord's hands, may his family be comforted in knowing he is at home. I will keep him...

To Roy's family, I want to express my condolences to his family. Just heard about his passing. Roy was an avid basketball player at the Y. He was a great comrade and role model for many people. May he rest in the Lord's peace and God bless his soul! Jim Quillen

I will miss you Roy. I will never forget us talking about Basketball and other sports, Books and Movies. Not only did we lose a Great neighbor but also the world lost a great man. To his Family and other friends I am sorry for your loss. Roy was a great guy and a very smart man. He will be missed.

Dear Roy as the days and weeks pass, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. I hope that wherever you are you may smile down on us as we return to our daily routine. For all of his other friends and family I am sorry for your loss because Roy was a great person to have in our society.
Sincerely,
Marian Hastings

Roy was a neighbor, a dear friend, and ever and always the kindly and humorous 'Uncle Roy' to our two young daughters.
As the obituary states, Roy was a mentor, teacher, and enthusiastic supporter to his many nieces and nephews and the younger generation at large and always made time to attend games, graduations and special family functions.
I would add that Roy was probably the single hardest working person I have ever known, who was always professional and polite to a fault....

Phil my friend and neighbor. I didn't know your brother personally. I did hear you and my brother Terry speak of Roy and I know Roy and you were close and still are...

Phil I know you and you're a kind and caring person. So I know Roy was a kind soul as well and will be missed dearly by you and many other family and friends.

With love and prayers Carl...

Joyce and family I am so sorry for your loss my prayers and thoughts are with you ALS horrible disease but now he is out of pain and at peace

Sorry to hear of Roys passing, spent many early lunch hours at the Y playing ball with and against this guy, he truly was a bball nut. May the Lord bless you all and comfort during this time of sorrow! Tom Wheeler

To the Griffiths and the rest of the family, We are so sorry that Roy has passed. We are so thankful for the years that he coached Wyatt in basketball and the influence he had on him. Those were some of our best years in sports. Blessings
