Roy J. Spellman Sr.

I will always remember "Big Roy" as a friend of my Dad's, but also someone who was good to me. From the time we lived on Erie Road, the Spellman Family were there when we were growing up. When I had polio as a young kid, they were there as friends to my parents and we kids always played together. Through High School and College, I would have occassions to vist with Roy Jr and Donald--usually when Donald would help me tune-up my Ford. I will never forget the friendship of this wonderful...

I am so sorry to hear the sad news of Roy. He is remembered so fondly by all the members of this family. Tonight we are recalling many special times with him and your family. I hope knowing we share your grief will in some way make it easier for you. You are in my thoughts and prayers and the memory of Roy will always be a part of us.

Our prayers and thoughts are with you. We rented from Roy on Date street in the early 1970's. Nice man and such a hard worker! He will be missed.
