Not sure what to say?

Dear Stapp family:
Roy was a great neighbor. He always had a kind word and great quip. We knew and loved both Gwen and Rogene. Undoubtedly all your memories of them will carry you. My dad made it to 101 and passed in the same month as your dad, just 4 years earlier. What a great generation of people--always quick to share, to encourage, to call it like it is! Love to you all as you carry on those traditions.

Marilyn & Jim Nielson

Diane, Jill & family, we are so sorry for the loss of your Dad and Grandpa. Although we never met him, he was handsome & obviously a great person as is his daughter and granddaughter. We have shared many great times together. GREAT PEOPLE. THE APPLE DOESN'T FALL TOO FAR FROM THE TREE......
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
WE LOVE YOU!

I proudly served in the 130th Utah Air National Guard under the command of Colonel Stapp. He was someone I always liked and admired. I'm happy to know he had such a long and wonderful life. Condolences to his family.

Thank you for your service. Rest in peace

As my second dad, even though he only referred to me as "El Groucho 140", he was an a great influence, both he and Gwen. I loved living with them to complete my final year at Bountiful High. laughing at the live mics on NFL football when they caught the players using naughty words, a big deal back in the 70's, all of us laughing at Gwen rolling on the floor when All in the Family aired an episode on something about women going thru the "change", whatever that is. The old jeeps and tote gotes...

Colonel Roy Stapp was on of the best Commanders that I had in the 130 AC&W and 130 EIS Squadrons. After a nine year break in service he was one of the reasons that I joined the 130 EIS. He will be missed. He was an Airman's commander.

MSGT. Wesley Fisher

Dear Stapp family, I was one of Roy's troops from the 130th. Roy was the commandeer that swore me in as a commissioned officer. Like each of you were his favorite I was his favorite officer. It was Me and my wife's privilege to have him and Rogene accompany us last May to the Armed Forces Day concert at the Galivin Center where I was receiving an award. I will miss the telephone conversations with ,. We talked often.
