Dr. Swank was a truly remarkable man. On behalf of the Department of Neurology at Oregon Health & Science University, I would like to express our sympathy to his wife, Leeanna, his daughter, Susan, and the rest of his family. I also would like provide a perspective on Dr. Swank and his career from that of a neurologist and multiple sclerosis (MS) specialist. My deepest condolonces for your loss. This is a great loss to us all. I attribute my healthiest times to Dr. Swank's diet. Such an extraordinary life and extraordinary man. God Bless Him.

Dear Susan - So sorry to read about the loss of your dad in the Oregonian but he certainly led a full, wonderful, and meaningful life. Rod and I always thought the world of him. Rod is retired now but I am still Principal at Jesuit High School just down the street a ways from your old house. We drive past it frequently and think of you. Hope everything else is going well for you in Davis. Love, Sandy ([email protected]) Please drop a line if you find the time.
