Roy Edmond Wentz

Roy always had a smile for me, he was a horseman I greatly admired. It was an honor to have him be an outrider for the wagon my Mom and grandchildren rode in the parade, I knew they would be safe. Roy knew where outriders were to be in relation to the team pulling the carriages or wagons. Today incompetent outriders trail the carriages and would be absolutely no good if the team got out of control. I have extremely fond memories of Roy. Judy Pearce

Peace be with you Peggy and family. I didn't know Roy personally but he sounds like the kind of gentleman that will be welcomed with a cup of coffee at the pearly gates.

Dear old Roy was a great outrider for my family in the Fiesta parade. He went with us for several years, saved the day under the State Street overpass when a carriage wheel caught in the grooves and the horses tried each going in different directions. RIP to a favorite horseman!

Oh well, Roy! There's "Happy Trails" only, ahead for you and Tina. Love Inger.
