Not sure what to say?

I am so grateful to Royce and Lois Carver for my husband. They reared him to be a responsible, loving, and godly man. Thanks be to God and to Royce and Lois Carver.

The first time I met him I was in Fort Worth to visit his grand-daughter Kelly (now my wife). Grandnanny had a fish fry and I ate every bite. Then I relaxed in the den with Royce and watched some Jack Benny special on PBS. We were both laughing at all the silly antics this old time comedian pulled on his show. That memory will be with me forever. Royce you will be missed by all.

I will turn home at last once more
Knowing that a true soldier's rest
Once earned is sweet
His peace complete
Who gave until the last his best

Royce, we have such great memories of you at the lake house, of catching perch to feed the trotlines then cleaning fish. We always looked forward to your pancakes and breakfast. We love you a lot.

God's heavenly kingdom is enriched by the homecoming of Grandpa Royce.
I am so glad for the brief time I had to know him and his wife Lois. They touched my sons' life in a special way. Much love, Sharonlee

Grand-pa (and Grand-nanny), thanks for the Texas Summers, for making us laugh till our faces hurt, for endless games of Uno, for perch wrapped in garlic, freezers full of catfish, for teaching us attention to detail, for leading by example, for defending our freedom, for giving me such a great dad, and for a lifetime of praying over us.

Love,
Quinn Sue, Ben, Nate & Naomi Carver

I always had the greatest respect for Royce during the few years that I worked with him at the Federal Records Center. I admired his firm but fair management style and I tried to emulate him as much as I could.

Great Grandpa we will miss you in our daily lives, but you will be in our hearts forever.
