Not sure what to say?

Condolences to Royce's family. Royce was a neighbor of mine in Thomasville, I was close to his family. He is greatly missed.

Think about you often. Really miss you. The memories we created will never be forgotten-God Bless my friend!

We had a great bunch of kids in Thomasville, of which Royce and his brothers were a part of. It was a wonderful place to grow up. Royce was a very sweet person.

Wow.Nobody had told me,and funny enough I've been more in touch with fellow DHS grads lately. My pops started lessons, but the uneasiness of first driving was smoothed out by Coach Gwrber. The humor and frankness let us know, that it's your choice if you want to be safe, and that was a valuable lesson. Today we will celebrate Royce's life. My last conversation with him was about our dads and and the Dover connection. I was personally so glad he was able to be honored at the January 2015 Donnie Swartz Classic at YCP as a Coach Emeritus. I admired him as a great basketball player with Ross Welch at SG but even more when I got to know him as a person...CLASS ACT!

Vicky and Family,

Royce had a clear love for his family. He has fought a hard battle. We all had a heavy heart the day we learned of his passing.

Thinking of the entire Gerber Family- Sending thoughts and prayers due in this time of grief and loss.

I still have fond memories of drivers ed...

Living in Florida I was late to hear the sad news of Royce's passing. He was a loyal friend and my assistant basketball coach for many years. Our students and players were his loyal fans. He was blessed with that certain ability to relate to not only players but every one who new him. The years with him were great and I'll never forget them. My sympathy goes to Vicki, Deron, and Brandon. There will be a void in our lives but Royce would want all of us to live on like he would.
