Royce was my co-thesis adiviser with Dr. Meyer in early 80's when he was chair. So accommodating during those years for someone who needed guidance. A great legacy for UNC chemistry and one reason why I continue to support the department. Best wishes to the family.

My sincerest condolences to Mirtha and the rest of the family. He inspired my life long work on modified electrodes and I went specifically to Chapel Hill to have him as my thesis advisor. Brilliant man and a friend that I treasured.

My deepest condolences to Dr Murray´s family. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I have such fond memories of my time as a postdoc in his lab - 20 years ago now. He was a great supervisor - a true Southern gentleman.

So sorry to hear of Dr Murray's passing. He was a great postdoctoral advisor to me and I did enjoy the brief time in his lab. Always friendly and willing to pass on his knowledge of science and the business behind it.
