Royce Veloris Speicher Elberfeld, IN Royce V. Speicher, age 81, of Elberfeld, passed away Tuesday January 7, 2014 at Deaconess Getaway Hospital in Newburgh. He was born May 22, 1932 in rural Gibson Co. IN to John & Lula (Seltzer) Speicher. He grew up in Elberfeld and graduated from Elberfeld High School in 1950. He served as an M.P, in the US Army from 1952-1954. He lived and worked in Warrick Co. as a farmer for most of his life and drove a school bus for 52 years. He served in several leadership positions in Warrick Co. He was a member of the Board of Directors for Lynnville National Bank. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Warrick Co. Farm Bureau Co-oP, Warrick Co. Farm Bureau Inc., Warrick Co. Parks Dept. and the Warrick 4-H Center Board. He also served on the Warrick Co. Council for several years. He was a member of Zion UCC of Elberfeld. He was preceded in death by parents; John & Lula Speicher, brother Norman Speicher & sister Minnie Kleiman. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Glenda (Snyder) Speicher, son Bradley Wayne (Kim) Speicher, daughter, Tarah Lynn (Fred) Bracher, grandchildren; Bryce Garet (Jessica) Speicher, Hanna Elaine Speicher, William Reece Bracher & Lillian Caroline Bracher, great-grandchildren; Jaden Eli & Brylee Lynn Speicher, and his cousins, niece & nephews. He was a devoted and loving husband & father who was enormously proud of his family & cherished each one greatly. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Saturday January 11, 2014 at Zion United Church of Christ, Elberfeld, IN. Visitation 4-8 pm Friday at Pemberton-Bradley Funeral Home in Lynnville, IN and 1 hour prior to service at Church. Interment St. John's Church Cemetery, Buckskin, IN.
