Not sure what to say?

"Dear Don, Pat and I have have shared so many wonderful memories with you and Dene and we both will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. The two of you had a wonderful life together and we know that your loss is great because you have lost not only your wife but your best friend as well. She was truly a fine "lady" and we loved and respected her so very much. Our heart goes out to you. Much love, Nell and Pat Salamone (Fairhope, AL)

Don, it was an honor to be one of your students, as well as to be able to have the opportunity to have memorable conversations with your lovely wife, Dene. She gave so much to this world, and I know she will do so in her new spiritual world. God Bless you both, Myrna Gunn

Dear Mr Hartman: With much love and admiration I offer my sympathy to you at the loss of your dear Dene
She will continue to shine in Heaven as she did here on Earth and I am quite sure she is looking upon you with love from her new home with God
Holding you close in my heart and prayers

Dear Don,

I was saddened to read of Dene's death this morning. I knew that she had done amazing things in her lifetime and been educated in a variety of schools, but reading them added to my astonishment. I well remember our summers and evenings in Montevallo as we worked on our graduate degrees. I am reminded of how close the two of you were and am praying for you as you make this serious adjustment in your own life.

Mr. Hartman please know that I share in your sorrow during this present time of grief but take heart in the fact that your separation from her is only temporary. I love you and all that you have meant to me in my life. I rejoice with you in her Divine promotion from life to eternity.
