Enjoyed several in person concerts, where we spoke. A most kind, cordial, and generous man, who autographed an event poster for me.

Attended his performances with great joy. I remember our chats after the events. A most courteous and obliging gentleman.

My wife Fiona joins me in sending heartfelt condolences to Lois and members of Royston's family in America and England. I had the privilege of being on the D'Oyly Carte music staff from 1976. Royston was an excellent boss to work for, always good-humoured, ever approachable, a real diplomat, and a true gentleman.
