Rozelle Johnson

Johnson, Rozelle R., age 84 of Dayton passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Mercy Siena Woods, Dayton surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 25, 1927 in Onieda,TN. Rozelle was preceded in death by her parents LaFayette Jackson and Julie (Robbins) Range, husband Ronald H. Johnson, daughter Julie Goff, son-in-law Lennie Roe, brother Samuel Range and sisters Morene Hull,Kathleen Tompkins and Lula Alice Range. She is survived by her beloved family, son Bruce C. Johnson-Golden,CO., Cheryl Roe-Hopkinsville,KY., grandchildren Zachary,Beth,Matthew and Lisa, 4 great-grandchildren, brother Jessie Range-Jamestown,TN., sister Ellaree Hull-Dayton,OH.,son-in-law David Goff-West Milton, and special friends Don and Julie Bernard, longtime neighbors and friends for over 30 years, Charity Krueger-Executive Director of Aullwood and Paul Knoop-Educational Director of Aullwood, and additional special friend and neighbor Becky Mergler. She was formerly employed at JCPenney,a salon owner in Englewood for over 12 years, was a volunteer for Aullwood Audubon Nature Center for 10 years, a world traveler with her husband and a devoted wife,mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank Mercy Siena for all there special care and concern for Rozelle. Friends may call on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the Hale-Sarver Family Funeral Home, 284 N. Miami Street, West Milton with services to follow. Additional viewing will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2012 from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Mundy's Funeral Home, 229 S. Main Street, Jamestown,TN., with services to follow at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be held at Fellowship Cemetery.
