Odelia de Leon and all the de Leon family,
Lynn and I and the Tejeda family offer our condolences to all of you during this time of sorrow. Ruben was a true friend to me personally and to our family; We will miss him dearly.
He was a relentless fighter for democratic causes all his life.
Most of all, Ruben was very proud of his family as well of his Tejano heritage, particularly, the founding of Victoria, Texas.
