Not sure what to say?

Ruben, we were neighbors, friend and classmates so I will never forget you, See you someday but for selfish reasons I hope its not too soon. Joe T,

It was an honor working for your Dean Flores. You always went above and beyond what was expected to help us grow and become better individuals. I will never forget all that you did for me. You will be greatly missed by us all.

To my cousin Ruben, you left us too soon. I, Rosie, and my children will all be better because of you. You showed us that we can do, be, and live, not based on our race, but on our ability to achieve our goals just as you did. Thank you for inspiring all. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

Ruben, your presence and inspiration will be sorely be missed by everyone who know you, your character and strive for continuing education will be hard to replace. your friends from Sepio's.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Ruben: We enjoyed great camaraderie as we journeyed together with other friends from Del Rio as students at San Antonio College and St. Mary's University. After college, you achieved notable goals as a community leader, teacher, and college dean, advocating for civil rights and higher education, touching and uplifting the lives of many people. You will be sorely missed, my friend.

It was a joy and real pleasure talking to you over the few years at San Antonio College. I will miss those talks.

Evening, Weekend, & Distance Education

Dean Flores will always be remembered for doing the most for the students and never expect anything in return. His pride and joy were always his kids and grand kids. I will miss you and the advice you gave to me. I pray that the Lord grants his family the strength thorugh this difficult time. RIP Dean Flores.

God Bless/RIP,to All who served.Thank YOU for your service,Ruben...Semper Fi
