Not sure what to say?

When this showed up in my email, all I could do was smile. You were such a kind soul with a smile that lit up the world, you may gone, but you will never be forgotten.

Just seeing his name made me smile with the memories of his friendship and kindness so many, many years ago. Blessings to his family.

I have just come Accross this. Jan. 2022. I am so saddened to see your loss. My love goes out to all. Jack, Dianne and Linda. Linda, I am your Godmother Please reach out to me [email protected] 704.728.7782 we lost Heather in May 2011, the same year as your loss. Peace

This showed up in my memories today. Once again the memories of Ruben made me smile, filled my heart with warmth and I remembered a kind young man who made me laugh and never judged me. I do not know if he ever knew how important his kindness was to me.

No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say good-bye.
You were gone before I knew it,

My heart still aches in sadness,
And tears still flow.

What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
I would have stayed closer
if I had only known.

I came here for the firs time with mom, dad, Ruben and Greg when I was a baby..

It's always hard saying goodbye to someone you love so much, but my uncle Ruben's passing has been especially hard...Our only comfort is knowing each day that passes is a day closer to seeing him again. He was my favorite uncle and always will be. He took a piece of my heart with him when he passed...His smile was contagious, which made it difficult to stay mad at him. We fought like brother and sister which brought us closer. There was never a doubt in my mind as to how much my uncle loved...
