My sincere condolences to the Santos family. Dr. Santos was a pathology resident while I was doing my internship at St.Francis in Peoria in the laboratory. I continued to see him later in both of our careers as I ended up in LaSalle and Peru and he would periodically cover these hospitals to fill in for the presiding pathologist. He was a very pleasant man .

I worked with Dr. Ruben Santos in the laboratory at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Spring Valley! Dr. Santos was always kind and supportive of the laboratory staff and I enjoyed working with him. I am sorry to learn that he has passed, but I hope his family will find comfort in knowing that he is now in the arms of our loving God! May God bless and sustain his family!
