Sincerest Condolences to Rueben's family. Rueben was a great football player at Ray. His running was a great exhibition of strength and durability on the football field.

I was very sorry to learn of Ruben Siller's passing. He and Gail were my lifesavers when I moved to San Antonio in 1975 to take a teaching job. His maps and their guidance helped me survive and fall in love with San Antonio! My condolences to the family. Susan Keller Mangum ( Longview, Tx)

I learned about Ruben's passing from a mutual friend of ours. I haven't seen Ruben since around the late 1960's or early 1970's when we were in college. He and I grew up together in Corpus and attended the same church since we were kids - Kelsey Memorial UMC. My sincere condolences to Ruben's immediate family and to brother David, sister Frances, and mom Margaret.

My deepest sympathies to The Sillers, I had only met rueben one time at his house for dinner back in the late seventies. Mrs Siller was my history teacher at Mac Arthur, and although throughout the years I lost touch with them, what transpired on that evening turned my life around, to them it was just a normal dinner to me i saw two of the greatest people who were funloving, outgoing and would give what they had to make a better person out of a troubled soul. I will forever be in their debt....

I was deeply sadened to learn of Rueben's Passing. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. I knew Rueben since Hamlin Jr. High where we became friends and teammates for the next few years in football. He was always a good and loyal friend. A person you were proud to call your friend. I will not be able to get to San Antonio on Tuesday but he will be in my thoughts and heart for ever. Jim Eller i.e. Moon
