Ruben "Harvey" Woodward Jr.

Ruben "Harvey" Woodward Jr., 22, of Wolftown, died Sunday, July 12, 2009, in Madison.

He was born December 2, 1986, in Charlottesville.

He is survived by his mother, Jeannie Foster and her friend, Scott Kelchner, of Madison; father, Ruben Harvey Woodward Sr. and his wife, Laura Woodward of Stanardsville; maternal grandparents, Paula Fuller of Pecos, Texas, and Charlotte and Michael Roddy of Merryville, Tennessee; paternal grandparents, Ruben and Lorene Woodward of Wolftown; one sister, Amber Renee Woodward of Madison; and a number of aunts, uncles, and other relative and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with interment at Rose Park Rapidan Cemetery conducted by Pastor Jeff Shifflett.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at the funeral home.

Jeannie, Scott and family I am so sorry to hear of Harvey's death. I did not know him but I pray that you will draw YOUR strengh now from the LORD and HE will get you all through this. There are many, many wonderful memories with Harvey. He was a great assest to my childhood. There was rare days that Harvey was not with us.
