So sorry! Ruby & I became good friends while seeking a musician at the time for Mt Pleasant Choir. She was always dedicated in keeping the choir operating effectively& smoothly. She would go beyond! I offer my sincere condolences & know she is now singing in Heaven's Choir! Rest in Peace!!

Dr. Rubie King was a wonderful and joyous person to be around while we worked at Stephenson High School. We would look forward to Fridays when we would gather a group and go out to dinner. One of our greatest joys was the merging of our families through the marriage of our children, Chavondria and Corey. Through that union the four of us have had the pleasure of "Grandparenting" two amazing grandchildren. We each brought to this "foursome" a uniqueness that complemented each other. Now that RUBIE has made her transition to her Heavenly Home, the three of us must continue to nurture our grandchildren and keep Rubie´s image, memory, and legacy alive for them.
