We met "Aunt Ruby" in Salinas being friends with her neice Jan Porter. She always has been a friend and we visited with her often, even after her move to Orem. She was very strong willed which made her able to accomplish many things in in her great 99 years here with all of us.

We first met Ruby when she was living in Salinas CA. She often visited our dear friends Ed and Jan in Gilroy and we and our children came to know her as "Aunt Ruby". I remember that she was always working on some kind of a project. To this day, when I see a styrofoam ball with some sort of decoration on it I think of Aunt Ruby and know that she would just love it. Our thoughts are with you all at this time.
