Not sure what to say?

Debbie, Deenie and Woody,

I just recently learned of Ruby's passing. My prayers are with you and your families.

Love, Leslie Assaf, Brent Bowen, Skyler and Rodney

Dear Debbie,
I only learned of your mama's passing yesterday, when I was talking to Jennie. How marvelous that one woman touched so many young girls' lives in such a loving and encouraging way that stir such fond memories amongst the 128 troop. I think of her often - when I fly and remember my first airplane experience with the troop going to Vicksburg (impeccably dressed in our uniforms, heels and gloves) - when I make my bed and remember how to do those "hospital corners" - when I go...

Debbie,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. My prayers are with you and your family during this time. May you receive comfort knowing how many lives were touched by her generosity and spirit.

TO RUBY ASSAF'S BELOVED FAMILY,
WHAT A BLESSING TO HAVE KNOWN AND LOVED SUCH A LOVELY LADY WITH SUCH A BEAUTIFUL SPIRIT. I TOLD DEBBIE LAST WEEK THAT I USE THE PEBBLE IN THE POND AS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW ONE PERSON CAN TOUCH THE LIVES OF SO MANY. EACH OF RUBY'S "GIRLS" FROM TROOP 128 HAS USED WHAT THEY LEARNED TO TOUCH EVERYONE THEY HAVE EVER KNOWN. THOUGH HER GRACE, LOVE, PATIENCE, UNDERSTANDING, FORGIVENESS, GIVING, AND QUITE STRENGHT SHE TAUGHT EACH OF US HOW TO BE LADIES BY EXAMPLE. SHE,...

Dear Assaf family,
My parents, Thomas Marshall & Sara Quinn lived close to you in the 40's. My mom always said it was because of your girls that she decided to have me. She talked of the times spent with your family and I have pictures of your children with my brother Tim, at birthday parties, etc. My daughter wrote in her favorite memories of Christmas traveling to Miss. on Christmas eve, getting to grandparent's house in time to see Woodie on the weather tracking Santa. I am sorry for...

Debbie,
Nate and I would llike to express our love for you and your family. All of you have touched our lives. We are sorry about the death of your mother. God Bless All of You.
Love,
Jan & Nate

Debbie and Deenie, My prayers are with you during this time. Regardless of their age or health, letting go of our beloved mothers is hard to do. Your mother was an example to many. And she raised two very strong and special women. Thinking of you.

Mr. Assaf,
For years my parents watched you on WLBT. They even kept up with your birthday and anniversary. My dad, too, passed away in December at the age of 88. God bless you and your children and may He hold you in His care as you go through the days ahead.
