Ruby McDaniel Bishop July 30, 1921- August 6, 2006 COLUMBUS, GA— Ruby McDaniel Bishop, 85, of Columbus, GA, died Sunday, August 6, 2006 at Columbus Hospice House. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2006, in Parkhill Cemetery, with Rev. Jim Hilderbrand officiating, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus. Mrs. Bishop was born July 30, 1921 in Smiths Station, AL, the daughter of the late Thomas Frank and Nannie Lou Lavendar McDaniel. She lived in Columbus most of her life and was a member of Wynnton United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Leonard Bishop. Survivors include two nephews, Jeff and Susan McDaniel, Ron McDaniel; niece, Patricia Hardin; two sisters-in-law, Edna McDaniel and Helen Bunnell.
