Not sure what to say?

Rich,John, and Scott
I will always remember Ruby as a kind ,thoughtful, happy friend.
Ruby was one of my dearest friends for 60 years. She also was my hairdresser.I worked as a Home Economist in Council Bluffs at the Farm Burea. Always on Saturday night a group of us gals went out after Ruby and Bea got off work and go to Omaha for steak dinner--we often times rode the street car from Council Bluffs to Omaha. We were friends for years in fact Ruby was in my wedding --married to Tom...

Rich, John, Scott,
Ruby was a sweet lady who was always willing to help with my kids when they were younger. She would watch the youngest twins and if Mike was fussy, Ruby would run the vacuum and hold Mike at the same time because she thought this would help calm him. Ruby was a special person who will be missed by a lot of people.

Richie, John, Scotty,
Aunt Ruby had a warm, genuine smile and a witty sense of humor. One of my earliest memories with Aunt Ruby includes a camping trip with all the Chapman kids. Janie and Johnny slept on the picnic bench and it rained all night! Also, spending the night at the house on 8th street was so much fun (Mike and I thought the bunk beds were cool), then waking up the next morning to pancakes, and playing with Cocoa. Aunt Ruby was a wonderful woman and will be missed.

Hi Rich, John, Scott, so sorry to hear about Aunt Ruby..When I think of her, I think of her huge smile. She was always so upbeat, and FUNNY! She told stories about your Dad and ours that made us just laugh and laugh. I remember her cutting our hair :) and coming home crying cause my bangs were soooo short! Mom would say, they'll grow back, so I wore a hat for a couple of days! That makes me laugh now, just thinking about it. She was a wonderful lady. You guys take care, you know where I...

I am so sadden to hear about Aunt Ruby. What a wonderful lady.I remember spending the night at your house, she would always make pancakes for breakfast and I will never forget the "tornado" that went thru and I was just amazed when the little red wagon rolled down the middle of 8th street without anyone pulling it. I cherish all my memories with Aunt Ruby, Uncle Rich, Richie, Johnny and Scotty. Please contact me.

Ruby was a very special person in my life. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of Ruby and her parents and Ruth. I vividly remember going to my first BBQ at their house when I was a preschooler. I will always have fond memories of her. Rich, John and Scott, although I haven't seen you since we were children, my heartfelt condolences go out to you and your families. You had a wonderful mother. Her Godson, Blane Nansel

Rudy was always our mothers best friend. She will long be remembered by the Nansel family.

Boyd Nansel

Ruby was one of the women who I am fortunate enough to have loved and adored. She was a huge part of my life as a child, and later in life she became my port in a storm. She was always ready to run or just sit and listen, whatever I needed. My heartfelt sympathies to Rich, John and Scott and their families. She loved you all without reservation, she was one great lady.
