Not sure what to say?

Underneath that tough, blunt exterior was a soft-hearted piece of mush. I just adored him, maybe because he let me see that other side. He loved his family and was so proud of Linda for having the courage to start her own business. Im glad I had a chance to know him.

Bob was one of the first guys I interviewed with in 1972 at AHSC down at 1740 Ridge.

I remember to this day interviewing with him, Bob Price, and Ralph Seaman.

On occasion when I was at 1740, I would stop in and say hello to Bob. Interesting how he always seemed to remember me and take an interest in a young finance trainee. He was one of our role models and a mentor. Bob was one of the core guys in the group from our roots at AHSC.

Dear Linda and family,
Hugs and sympathy from a dear friend of Linda's from the good old days of Republican politics in Washington. Bob was the proudest of fathers - and a dear and entertaining friend to us all. He will be missed but his legacy lives on forever. Nancy Sinnott Dwight

To Ann and the family:

Please accept our sympathy. Bob and I had a nice chat after our plane ride to Palm Springs on Nov. 1st and he seemed very chipper. We will always remember his good sense of humor.

you probably don't know me, but bob's mother ,elizabeth o'keefe and my mother, agnes aylward were first cousins. I remember visits our family had with th divall in bensenville. I especialyy recall my grandmother, mary o'keefe aylward and bob's grandmother, (aunt mattie) to us sitting in th living room and talking up a storm! I was a v.p. in the trust dept. at first Illinois bank and would see bob on the day the board of directors met. I left first Ill. in 1980 and lost touch with bob...

I enjoyed knowing Bob as a friend and colleague of his daughter Linda, While some may have known him as a bit of a curmudgeon it covered up a marshmallow who loved his family, was proud of all of them and would tell you so at the drop of a hat.
Ride 'em cowboy....and I hope there is a great golf course in the sky as well as good tennis courts. You'll be missed but we will always be smiling when we think of you.

Dear Ann,
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Bob. He was a great friend. Our love to you, Diane, Linda and all the family. There never was a time when we would meet that we didn't share a smile or just an outright laugh. He was a wonderful guy and will be missed by all who new him.
Love,
