Ruby CLARK Obituary
Ruby May Clark, 73, of Altavista, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Born Oct. 14, 1935, in Campbell County, she was a daughter of the late William Thomas Clark Sr. and Edna Guthrie Clark. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and retired from Wamsetta Mills.
Survivors include her brother, Guy Clark (Betty Johnson) of Hurt; her sister, Carolyn C. Riddle and husband, Kenneth, of Lynchburg; niece, Betty Ayers; nephew, Glenn Pope; close friend, Fran McQuinn; and several other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, April 30, 2009, in Cumbie Memorial Cemetery, Rustburg, by the Rev. Dr. Melvin Campbell.
