Not sure what to say?

My Peachtree Road Races just aren't the same with the twins. I remember the early days with they each had their poodles. I have my last picture with her from July 4, 2008. I received the book today, and cried.

I have nothing but smiles in my memory of Ruby and Ruth. I will never visit the downtown corridor or Mary Mac's without thinking of them fondly. Atlanta is forever changed without them.

I am grateful to have known Ruth and Ruby Crawford.

Ruby was an exceptional person, good and kind. She had such positive energy. I saw this especially in recent years when we were in adjacent rooms in the hospital. She was a real trooper during and after a difficult illness. I know she is now with the Lord and her beloved Ruth. Good night sweet friend, until we meet again.

I met Ruby and Ruth at one of the many GAWL functions they attended. I was a young lawyer at the time and quite inspired by their enthusiasm and kind spirits. They were both wonderful ladies and just plain fun to be around. I am sorry to hear of their passing and appreciate their many gifts to making this world a better place.
Sincerely, Zahra Karinshak, GAWL member

Will miss seeing your smiling face at Mary Mac's.

Ruby and Ruth became great friends of our family when my mom was Executive Secretary for the Woman's Chamber of Commerce. They loved Atlanta and worked hard to promote the city in any way they could. It won't be the same to go to Mary Mac's and not see them. They were lovely ladies and will be missed by many. They just don't make them, like Ruth and Ruby any more. I feel blessed having known them.

So many good memories of Ruth & Ruby at FNB Atl.-They were Loved Dearly by all who knew them and they will be missed & as others said"They are back together again" and I'd like to extend my deepest sympathy to their family-May God be with you all-

Ruby and Ruth were two of my favorite people. I have known them since l963 when I moved to Atlanta with my own small twin daughters. We shared many good times together and their energy and love for Atlanta was inspiring to all who knew them. They were only separated when Ruth died and I can only imagine the joy of their heavenly reunion. They were wonderful citizens of Atlanta, devoted members of many civic and political organizations and faithful to their beloved Peachtree Road United...
