Ruby Lee Crockett, age 90 was born on August 16, 1930 in Ward, Alabama passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2021 in The Woodlands, Texas. Beloved wife of the late Leo Crockett. Loving daughter of the late Millie Rogers and Joseph Deal Rogers. Mother of Wanda Starks, Nancy Butler (Clarence), Wendy Crockett, Kimberly Crockett, Willie Rogers, Doris Lindsey, Ruby Sturdivant and the late Nancy Ann Rodgers and Leon Crockett. Step-mother of the late Clarence Crockett. Sister of Emma Rodgers, Levi Rodgers and the late Peter Rodgers and Obbie Rumley. Aunt of Raymond Rodgers. Also survived by 20 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 4 nieces and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also Staff of University Medical Center (LCMC) and Game Shop are invited to attend the Visitation on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home, 2120 Jackson Avenue from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Followed by the Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at St. John Baptist Church, 1225 Short-15 Ward, Alabama at 1:00 p.m. Interment- St. John B.C.
