RUBY PEEL CROWLEY

Mrs. Ruby and I met 10 years ago over burgers & fires!! We shared lots of conversation & laughs but mainly she taught me to love unconditionally. I just found out about her death and even though our visits were less often since her move, our friendship never changed. I will surely miss her notes, calls and most of all her laughter. She is happy now with her Lord and her "blackie" whom she loved so dearly but my heart will always have a space missing without her. 'Till we meet again my friend!!

Dear old CR will be missed! She and my mother, Mina, were such good friends and neighbors. Ruby adopted my whole family and we adopted her. We have missed having her around Kinston these years and now we will really miss her! She loved my kitties and always asked about her special cat friend Tucker. I will miss getting cards and calls from Crazy Ruby, CR for short!

Ruby was a great friend to my family while she was in Kinston. She was most encouraging to my children whom she taught to call her "Crazy Ruby" and a great friend to my mother during her battle with cancer. She was a great Christian in the way she lived and conducted herself.
