I was blessed to have this wonderful lady as my grandmother. Nanny (as most knew her) was such a blessing in my life. She was so warm and welcoming to all. I remember sitting in Cathy's house and listening to her tell me stories about when she used to babysit children and I remember thinking how lucky those little babies were. She reminded me of my own Grandmother and she always had a smile and hug for me when I saw her. She was good medicine for my soul. I will always remember how Mrs. Ruby would cook outstanding meals for my grandparents. She also offered them company. She was a huge help to me when I was taking care of them and for that I am eternally grateful. I will miss visiting her in her home and the great conversations we would have. She will be greatly missed by many.
