I was blessed to have this wonderful lady as my grandmother. Nanny (as most knew her) was such a blessing in my life. She was so warm and welcoming to all. She had a very special place in her heart for children, especially babies. She also loved to quilt. Nanny had such an encouraging and comforting way about her. You knew after talking with her that you could do whatever you set your mind to and that she would support you. She is someone who will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of...

Ohhh, I just thought Nanny was the sweetest thing. I remember sitting in Cathy's house and listening to her tell me stories about when she used to babysit children and I remember thinking how lucky those little babies were. She reminded me of my own Grandmother and she always had a smile and hug for me when I saw her. She was good medicine for my soul. Whenever I knew she would be next door I would make a point of going over so I could spend a little time with her because she always...

I will always remember how Mrs. Ruby would cook outstanding meals for my grandparents. She also offered them company. She was a huge help to me when I was taking care of them and for that I am eternally grateful. I will miss visiting her in her home and the great conversations we would have. She will be greatly missed by many.

My thoughts and prayers are with Dean, Janice,Travis, and the rest of the family. I've always heard you have to be a good person to get into "Heaven". Once you get there you have to earn your wings.
