I met Ruby through Sisters Network-Houston Chapter, the breast cancer survivor organization. We had a lot of laughs together especially when we went boating at the retreat for breast cancer survivors. My prayers and thoughts are with the family. J. Chynell Fisher

My prayers are extended to the family of Ruby. She was a wonderful person. I remember her work with the children of McDade Elementary here in Houston, even when her daughter Amy was in attendance at the school. May God continue to give you strength.

Your family will be in my prayers. We have added your name to our church prayer list during your time of berevement.

To the Family:

Today, I do not feel sorrow, but I rejoice in the homegoing of my sister Ruby. She enjoyed life, and her mission was to help and encourage everyone around her, inspite of her difficulties, she was always a pleasure to be around. Her physical presence will be missed, but her Spirit will remain in the hearts of everyone she met.
