When Ruby undertook a project, it got done and she very charmingly got everyone else to get their work done. She was a great conversationalist who obviously enjoyed people's company. She will be missed.

I'm happy to have had the opportunity to meet and spend one on one time with Ruby a handful of years ago on a drive to Tahoe as well as at some subsequent gatherings. On the drive she told me great stories of her childhood, her life in the depression, and of her family. Ruby was a great woman who lived a full life and very generously liked sharing her enjoyment of all that life had to offer with family and friends. I feel very fortunate to have known her.

Ruby was one of my mother's best friends, and I considered her a friend, too. We admired her greatly, and always enjoyed being around her. Monica and I, as well as David and Cindy, my brother and sister-in-law, will miss her. Our sincere condolences to the family.
