I was blessed the day Ruby walked into the hair salon I worked at for the next 13 years Ruby was in every 4 weeks for her trims .Over the years although i never personally met her son David ,his wife and grandchildren I felt I knew them through Ruby's loving stories of them .I remember the day she told me she had to give up driving and didnt know how she would get her hair done.My reply you were loyal to me so many years I will come to you.For the next 2 years I would visit her trim her...

I got to know Ruby through my wife who was her caregiver through Comfort Keepers.
I also have a heart for the elderly.
Ruby touched me heart in many ways. I loved her stories of her growing up in West Virginia, the business her and her husband had & her son David.
She had a plumbing problem in October so since I'm a home inspector I helped her and David with some referrals and help getting to the bottom of it. This blessed me as much as it blessed her and David.

Ruby was such a blessing in my life. We spent so many good visits together and went to so many church events. We could always find something to talk about and I will really miss the time we were able to spend together. I will miss her so much. She was a very special lady. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

I am a comfort keeper caregiver and I had the pleasure of getting to know Ruby. I was helping her for 3 months and what a blessing she was to me and always will be. Yes I know I poured into her life, however she poured so much into my life also. She shared with me all about her life growing up in West Virginia.
