I had the privilege of working with Ruby for the VADOC. She was the first person to greet me when I started and I will never forget her beautiful smile and how kind she was. Ruby was always the same; always helpful, kind and just a sincere genuine person. Everyone loved Ruby; she was a very special person. I have many great memories of her. Heaven is gaining an amazing angel! RIP Ms. Ruby!♥

I never met Ruby, but I am friends with her daughter-in-law Berta. I know Ruby's son John. I have heard about Ruby thru Berta and she sounded like a very special lady. I have always thought of Aunt Ruby as an amazing woman. Always a gracious lady, dedicated to her family and friends, mind as sharp as a tac, and the fastest typist I Ever saw, and...how many times did she return to work after retirement ? !!
I think her strongest legacy is the Love, strength and closeness she instills in her family. I am so fortunate to have had her as my Aunt. As sad as her loss makes me, every memory of her makes me smile. Amazing woman.
