Not sure what to say?

Ruby was my God Mother and showed her great kindness and generosity to me. I was poor with cardboard in my shoes when Ruby would take me shopping for a complete new outfit which included a new pair of shoes. The greatest gift came as a young teenager. Ruby , my Mother and I went to Samoa Beach together. Seeing them laugh and chatter away helped chase away my image as a poor thing. Ruby never knew how much I appreciated her. I hope heaven gives her my message.

Ruby was warm, kind, gracious. She was not just beautiful. She was outright foxy. I was a well dressed kid in high school because of her. She was thoughtful and generous. She had class.....even when I tried to explain.....not very well.... the Hiway Patrol's allegation that I was drag racing her 61 Chevy Impala hardtop (348 & wonderful carbuerators) down 4th St in 1962. (Barbara would never do that but Richard...Tom....can you imagine the sheer thrill..wow...please forgive me) I am so...

Barbara & Rol,

I read about the death of your mother in yesterday's paper. We want you to know that we are thinking of you. It is never easy to loose a parent.
Rol, we still miss your parents--they were such wonderful friends. Keep in touch.

Richard, Barbara, and Tom
We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Rubys passing. We missed all of you at the reunion in March but our family shared their pictures with us and Aunt Ruby looked great. She used to cut my hair every other week when we were young and was one of my Aunts that allways called me Lonnie. As we just returned from Eureka to Oregon (another service) and have commitments I don't believe we will see you at the service but our thoughts will be there. Loren and Terry.

Aunt Ruby, a beautiful, loving and caring lady.

I AM SO GLAD I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE AND VISIT WITH AUNT RUBY AT THE HEAD REUNION IN MARCH. SHE WAS A GREAT AUNT.
MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU ALL.

Dear Richard, Barbara, and Tom,
I am so sorry that I can not attend the memorial service for Aunt Ruby. I have tried and tried, but I can not get a substitute for that day. I will be thinking of all of you. I will always remember Aunt Ruby and what a sweet, sweet lady she was. She always had a smile for everyone, and she was always so happy to see everybody.
I have many fond memories of family gatherings. Love, Cherry and Roger

I remember Ruby from when I did odd jobs for her at Bert's Stationery in the 1950's. She was warm and generous to me. I liked working for her. Later, I got a part time job with her brother, Al Biondini, when he had his men's store on 5th St., Eureka. They were both very kind.

I showed Ruby's obituary to my mother Joan Nicklas, 93 years old and living at an assisted living facility in Eureka, "Especially You."

She looked at it and read it carefully, the 1st real...

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
