Ruby V. Hedrick, age 84 of Brookfield, died Sunday October 25, 2015 at Life Care Center of Brookfield. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday October 28, 2015 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Reverend Mike White officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will start at 1:00 pm Tuesday October 27, 2015 at Rhodes Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Memorial donations have been suggested for the Pershing Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or the Trinity United Methodist Church and may be sent to the funeral home, 216 Linn Street, Brookfield, Missouri 64628. On-line registry at www.rhodesfh.com Ruby Virginia, daughter of Albert and Lucy Kerns Jewell was born on Sunday July 05, 1931 in Chillicothe. On September 16, 1950 she was united in marriage to Orville Francis Hedrick in Chillicothe. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2003. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church; past president of BPW; past president of Pershing Auxiliary; and Church Camp Counselor for 26 years. She loved the lord and her Bible Study. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Keune and husband Carl, Laclede and Sandra Pinnell and husband Steve, Troy; one son, David Hedrick, Brookfield; ten grandchildren, Justin Keune, Kim Huber, Amber Przybylski, Lindi Dowell, Lisa Thomas, Jim Pinnell, Sean Hedrick, Sarah Mossbacher, Amanda Hedrick and Daniel Hedrick; sixteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Rosemary Funk, Chillicothe; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Ruby was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Orville Hedrick Jr.; five brothers, Clifford, Alvie, Charlie, Robert and Jessie Jewell; three sisters, Etta Mae Batson, Irene Elliott and Ruth Clay.

Ruby was such a Christian friend to us when Aaron's parents died. We will miss her smiling spirit!

Our Sunday School class and the church will miss Ruby but I know she's with Jesus

So sorry to hear of Ruby's passing, she was always so sweet to our family, and a good friend. You will be in my prayers.
