Edward David Robinson, 70, of Lexington, passed away Monday, September 5, 2016 at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington. Born December 23, 1945 in Anderson County, KY, Eddie was the son of the late Airence C. and Dorothy Davis Robinson.
A locksmith by trade, lastly Eddie was the owner of A-1 Locksmith in Lexington and Bowling Green. He was a member of the Revival Tabernacle in Lexington and had attended Westside Community Church.
Eddie is survived by three sons, David Robinson of Georgetown, Wayne Robinson of Lexington, and Bryan Robinson of Corbin; two grandchildren, Kaelin and Josh Robinson; a brother, J.B. Robinson of Lexington; two sisters, Joyce Casey and Carolyn Robinson, both of Lexington; a special niece and caregiver, Gina Atkerson; his special caregivers, Ashley Robins and Menzell Robinson; and his beloved companion service dog, Bella.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, Sept. 9, 2016 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Gene Young and Pastor Sabrina Sands officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Thursday.
Serving as casket bearers will be Menzell Robinson, Austin and Shelby Stidham, Curtis Robinson, Bill Sands, and Mike Lutrell.
