RUBY HERNANDEZ

RUBY HERNANDEZ, 80, of Fort Wayne, Ind., passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018. Born on Feb. 24, 1938 in Malakoff, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Pedro and Conception (Juarez) Hernan dez. Ruby was an active member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and caregiver. Ruby is survived by her son, Anthony R. (Haydee) Williams; granddaughter, Brianna N. Williams; siblings, Mary Torres, Paul Hernandez, and Connie Pena; sisters-in-law, Sylvia and Sandy Hernandez; brother-in-law, Armando Garcia; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Guadalupe Hernandez, Cruz (Joseph) Contreras, Gloria (Roy) Godoy, Josie (Manuel) Laguna, Pedro Hernandez Jr., and Mary Alice Garcia; sister-in-law, Prima Hernandez; and brothers-in-law, Ruben Torres and Virgil Pena. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church, 7215 St. Joe Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46835) with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 1 to 3 and 5 to 6:45 p.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46819) with the Rosary Service beginning at 6:45 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, 2403 E.
