I have many happy childhood memories of going to visit "AuntRubyUncleWayne." Yes, it was all one word, we would be so excited. Aunt Ruby had a warm, welcoming home that was often filled with friends, musicians, and assorted family. Cousins Deb and Sherry would be around, graciously putting up with us young 'uns. Ruby, your love of life inspired all who were near you. You will be dearly missed. Love to Deb and the family.

Me and mom - the last two of our little family of four. It was my honor and privilege to care for and spend mom's final days with her. Ruby was a beautiful jewel - loving, funny, charismatic, smart, sassy, and always a good teller of stories, as was her family tradition. I will miss and cherish our memories always. You are my sunshine, too, mama. I love you.
