My mom, my friend. The day my mom went home to be with Jesus, my devotional scripture read, "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of one of His saints! " I miss her dearly and so thankful she is not suffering anymore. God blessed me and my brothers with a wonderful mother!

Jim and Nell were very special to me, especially since Jim gave me away at my wedding.
Alan, Angel and I were always welcomed and made a special part of their family.
I will miss her sweet smile and the memories our family shared.

My grandmother was an amazing woman. She would babysit me from time to time growing up, which is where my love of game shows comes from. She would kick your tail in Scrabble and her signature chocolate gravy and biscuits were legendary. She loved you unconditionally and you were always a welcomed guest when you stopped by. I already miss her hugs and her warm smile.

Over the past few months I learned that Ms. Nell and I shared many common bonds, but the most outstanding was our love for Gospel Hymns. I play the Piano often at Ross and she always loved being with the other residents to hear the music. I sometimes ask them for requests and she knew them all, but would tell me to play "Mansion Over The Hilltop" and "Whispering Hope" as two of her favorites. I loved her dearly and will miss her presence, yet in my heart I know she will still be there singing along with me each time I play, especially those old tunes. Thank you for touching my life and May God Bless Your Family Always, Beverly
