Ruby E. Hilliker

FRANKLIN-Ruby E. Hilliker 76, of Pearl Street, died Sunday, June 22, 2008, at her home after a long illness. She was born in Franklin, the daughter of Robert and Hazel (Whitten) Hannan. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1951. Mrs. Hilliker worked for Beede Electric and Hoyt Electric both in Penacook.

Mrs. Hilliker was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church in Tilton. In her free time she enjoyed volunteering at the Twin Rivers Food Pantry.

Family members include her husband Lawrence M. Hilliker of Franklin, one son Carl Hilliker and his wife LeeAnn Hilliker of Northfield and Naples, FL; one daughter Gail Blodgett of Concord; four grandchildren, Matthew Hilliker, Jenna Hilliker, Christopher Blodgett and Benjamin Normandeau; four sisters Margaret Dascoulias of Maine and Florida; Avis Folsom of Boscawen; Lorraine Harbour of Franklin; Jean Chase of Penacook; and one brother, Donald Hannan of California. Ruby was predeceased by her son Paul Hilliker, in 1972, one sister, Alice Kingsbury and two brothers, Ralph and Robert Hannan.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 26, 2008 at 10:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tilton. Burial will be at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Concord.
