So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My sister Lisa mentioned it when I talked to her the other day. Such fond memories of your family coming to my father's store...we all kind of grew up together!! God bless your family and RIP Ms Ruby.

I just found out about this and was disheartened that I missed the funeral. My girls used to be in the daycare where Miss Ruby helped with her daughter Miss Tinsy. She spoiled my girls...especially the baby, Kiara. We called her Grandma...she was always so "jazzy" and I'm sure she was the same until the day she passed. She will be missed. My prayers and sympathies to the family. Miss Ruby was a beautiful soul! I'm grateful that she was in my daughters lives. --Kellie & the Brooks girls...

To Brenda and the Ruby Gay Hooks family. I would like to personally thank Ms.Ruby for her love and godly teachings that she expressed to our children,gran children and great children.
