HUCKABY, Ruby Ruby M. Huckaby, 103, of Fayetteville, died May 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband James Shelton Huckaby, her parents John and Addie Mays, brothers Glenn Mays, Robert Mays, Wyman Mays, and J.P. Mays and sisters Mary McGarity, Tiny Pressley, and Ruth Davidson. She is survived by her son Thomas S. and Mary Boyte Huckaby of Fayetteville; grandchildren Thomas S. "Butch" and Suzanne Huckaby, Jr of Fayetteville and James Douglas Huckaby of Orlando, FL; great grandchildren Amy Diane Huckaby and her finance Brock Howell of Birmingham, AL, Shelley Leanne Huckaby of Fayetteville, and Keri Anne Huckaby of Fayetteville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Overton Chapel of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church; the body lying in state at 10:30AM. Reverend Glenn Stringham will officiate. A graveside service will follow at 2:00PM at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends Friday from 3:00 to 5:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM at Carl J Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
