HUTCHISON, Ruby L. (Jenks) - Of Flint, age 76, went home to be with her Lord Jesus on Friday, July 11, 2008 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 1PM Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Allen Sudmann officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Visitation 1-8PM Sunday and 11AM Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Ruby was born on June 8, 1932, the daughter of the late Percy and Cleo Jenks. Surviving are 6 children, Brenda (Bill) Howes of New Mexico, John (Pam) Of Ludington, Gregory of Shingleton, LaVonna Hutchison and Billy of Swartz Creek, Robert (Tina) of Charlevoix and Jason of Allegan; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grand-children; 2 sisters, Geraldine (Bill) Eickbricht of Fife Lake, Shirley (Jim) Spasoto of Mio; 3 brothers, Chuck (Ruth) Jenks of Davisburg, Robert (Rose Marie) Jenks of Georgia and Ed (Mary) Jenks of Flint; special friends, Connie (Steve) Hathaway and their children, Tony and Allison of Swartz Creek and Josephine Evans of Clio; grand puppy, Bogie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; parents; sisters, Mag, Janet, Norma and Joyce; brothers, Chet, Lloyd and Dale.
