RUBY INGESON Obituary
Ruby E. Ingeson, 93, of St. Joseph, MI formerly of Evanston, passed away May 30, 2009. Loving sister of Bertil (Rose) and the late Edgar (the late Betty) Ingeson; cherished aunt of Carole, David (Genny), Jeff and Brian Ingeson and great aunt of Derek and Sydney Ingeson. Ruby was born in Evanston on September 8, 1915 to Ruben and Annie Ingeson. She was a very active member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School for many years, participated on the Altar Guild and in Sewing Circles and was active in Lutheran World Relief. Ruby retired from Northwestern University Student Health Services as a lab technician in 1983 after working at the North Shore Clinical Laboratory from 1945 to 1960. She will lie in state Friday, June 5th, 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 616 Lake St., Evanston, IL 60201. Interment private at Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Willows Assisted Living, 3507 Hollywood, St. Joseph MI 49085, Immanuel Lutheran Church or Lakeland Medical Center Hospice, 1234 Napier, St. Joseph MI 49085. Arrangements by Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home, (847) 251-8200.
