Not sure what to say?

My memories of Ruby are when I was just a youngster and they are sweet - watched shooting stars at night in her yard, going to her Sunday school class, talking about her Easter dress one spring, being Eddie's Mom, and when Marilee was born. She did not recognize me at a recent class reunion. I'm so happy she was blessed with a large and loving family. It should be wonderful to focus on her life and not the loss of her presence.

Dear Keller Kids,
Found this Page just today -- Sorry about the loss to all us Dewey-ites
I remember receiving some of those "SHOTS" mentioned. What A GRAND LADY!!!
Yours in Thoughts Prayers and Love

Eddie, Jimmie, and Marilee: Memories of your mother have come often since learning of her passing. Your parents and mine were such good friends. Ruby was always glad to see us and was so kind. So I smile at these memories knowing you will have so many more to re-live. Please know that she loved the three of you more than life. I visited her grave on Sunday after her burial and took a carnation to remind me of her life and how special she made people feel. She and mother had been friends...

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

My mother, father and family knew Ruby, quite well and were on the recieving end of a number of those shots. She and Dr. Vansant kept us all up and going for many years. She became a family friend. She was a lovely person and we all felt prividged to have known her.

Ed. It's been a million years since we've seen one another, but I wanted you to know how sad I am about your mom's passing. She was a very good friend to my mom, and I recall several discussions with my mom about the good ol' days in Dewey - often including stories about your mom. Please be safe. Your friend - Fred Clark

Your mom was a gem......

Dear Eddie, Jimmie and Marilee,

I have so many wonderful memories of Ruby. All the beautiful articles she knitted for me and mother, The Saturday night card games, her keen mind learning medical knowledge and her gentle spirit dealing with patients, her great sense of humor, her wonderful ability to relate to all generations, the way she could remember all the details of people and incidents that happened years ago was amazing. Every time I was around her she always had a great...

Fay and I are so sorry for your loss. Ruby was quite a woman and both of us really enjoyed going by to see her whenever we were near the area. She touched many lives and I know the three of you will really miss her. I know I missed my mother when she passes. Our condolences to all of you.
