Ruby Mae Kelley

Every day since I was about 11 I think of Ruby and I am now 73. I was a neighbor kid in Sutter and she pierced my ears, with Mom's permission, of course. She was a young mom with a bunch of kids and I liked visiting with her. She did a great job with the ice, needle, etc. and that's why I think of her every day when I put on my earrings and smile, remembering when she pierced my ears.
