RUBY E. KNAKAL

Ruby E. Knakal Ruby E. Knakal, 91, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her residence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Knakal and her parents, William L. and Alice V. Fletcher.

Mrs. Knakal was a member of First Baptist Church in Newport News, VA.

Mrs. Knakal is survived by two daughters, Doris A. Dey and Nancy J. Ellett and her husband, Allen F. Ellett, one step son, Joseph C. Knakal and his wife, Zada, her daughter-in-law, Carolyn B. Knakal, seven grandchildren, Stephen Knakal, Carrie Head, Amanda J. Holley, Mark W. Shipp, Christine Templeton, Catherine Smith and Karen Cercone.

She is also survived by seven great grandchildren including, Mark Joseph Shipp (Veronique M. Miller) and two great-great grandchildren including, Elizabeth Miller-Shipp who was very special and dear.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at 10 a.m.at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton, VA with Rev. Dale Selyn of First Baptist Church, Newport News, VA officiating.
