Not sure what to say?

Ruby, my mother spoke of you often and told me how wonderful you were as not only a nurse but as a person. I still remember coming in to Poly to visit my mom at work and seeing you there as a kid, then getting to work with you briefly when I was an ER tech going to nursing school. I know so many learned from you, and so many patients were able to benefit from your skills. May you rest in peace.

RIP Ruby. I haven't seen Ruby in many years, but the memories that I have, I will forever cherish. JR

So sorry to hear about Ruby I met her doing Missions with the WSF. She was a great worker under not the best conditions. You'll be missed. Peggy Mackrell

To Ruby's family, we extend our condolences for your loss. Ruby was an extraordinary woman and has been a good friend of our family since 1974 when we first moved to the United States. We lived beside Ruby and her mother and loved them both very much. We will miss her very much but know that she is now in a good place with her parents. We will remember her fondly, Anna & Roland Tomas, and Karin (Tomas) and Michael Bell

Ruby glad our paths crossed again a few months ago. It was nice to have said good-bye!!

Ruby touched so many lives in so many wonderful ways. As a nurse, her devotion to her profession was an inspiration to all of us that were lucky enough to say we worked side by side with her. We have been blessed to call Ruby our friend and you will be missed. Rest with God now Ruby.

"You've painted up your lips and rolled and curled your tinted hair, Ruby are you contemplating going out somewhere?"

Ruby was the epitome of a nurse who had a relentless compassion for serving others. I see that now more than ever after reading the obituary and these posts.

Ruby, you always made me laugh & smile! God bless you and your family, rest in peace.

Our days in Polyclinic ER will always be remembered ................the stories we could tell :) We will miss you !! love, tinkl

To the family and friends of Ruby, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I had the plesure of working with Ruby for many years at Polyclinic and there was never a dull moment! Ruby was probably the hardest working and most selfless woman I know. She had a passion for caring for others that took her to many wonderful places and I always enjoyed hearing her stories. May she rest in peace!
